Dudhsagar Waterfalls
Dudhsagar Waterfalls is a breathtaking four-tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi River in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is one of India's tallest waterfalls, with a height of 310 m (1017 feet) and an average width of 30 meters (100 feet). The waterfall is located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park among the Western Ghats. The name 'Dudhsagar' translates to 'Sea of Milk' in English, which is derived from the frothy white appearance of the water as it cascades down the rocky precipice.
