Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary, located in the Mandya District of Karnataka, is a paradise for bird watchers and nature lovers. Spanning over 40 acres, it is the largest bird sanctuary in the state and is home to a myriad of bird species, both resident and migratory. The sanctuary is situated on the banks of the Kaveri River and comprises six islets that provide a perfect habitat for the birds.
