Ananthapura Lake Temple

Ananthapura Lake Temple is a serene and ancient temple located in the middle of a lake in the Kasaragod district of Kerala, India. It is the only lake temple in Kerala and is believed to be the original seat of Ananthapadmanabha Swami, the deity of the famous Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram. The temple is surrounded by a rectangular lake, which is home to a crocodile named Babiya, considered the guardian of the temple.
