Built by Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Balarama Varma of the Travancore dynasty in the 19th century, this palace is renowned for its exquisite architecture and intricate wood carvings. The name 'Kuthiramalika' translates to 'Mansion of Horses', derived from the 122 wooden horses that adorn the wooden brackets of the palace. The palace now serves as a museum showcasing royal artifacts, paintings, and other historical items.
