Vadakumnathan Temple is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located in the heart of Thrissur city, Kerala. This temple is a classic example of the Kerala style of architecture and has been declared as a National Monument by India under the AMASR Act. It is one of the oldest temples in the state, where the annual Thrissur Pooram festival takes place with great pomp and show.
