Tanot Mata Temple
Tanot Mata Temple is a revered Hindu temple located in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan, near the India-Pakistan border. It is dedicated to Goddess Tanot, an incarnation of Goddess Hinglaj. The temple is famous for its miraculous survival during the 1965 and 1971 wars between India and Pakistan, where numerous bombs fell in its vicinity but none exploded, attributed to the divine intervention of the goddess.
