Ramnagar Fort
Ramnagar Fort is a majestic fortification situated on the eastern bank of the Ganges River, opposite the Tulsi Ghat in Varanasi. Built in the 18th century by Kashi Naresh Raja Balwant Singh, the fort serves as the ancestral home of the Maharaja of Varanasi. It is renowned for its distinctive Mughal architecture, with its high ramparts and ornate design. The fort also houses a museum that showcases a collection of vintage cars, royal palkis, an armory of swords and old guns, and a rare astronomical clock.
