Corbett National Park
Corbett National Park is the oldest national park in India, established in 1936 as Hailey National Park to protect the endangered Bengal tiger. It is located in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand and was named after Jim Corbett, a well-known hunter and naturalist. The park is known for its rich wildlife including tigers, elephants, leopards, and several species of deer and birds. It offers a unique experience of wildlife in the midst of lush forests and riverine belts.
